Eduyos 3:2-3

Eduyos 3:2

Rabbi Dosa ben Harkinas says that discrete pieces of food do not combine for ritual uncleanliness but the Sages say that they do. Rabbi Dosa says that one may exchange second-tithe produce for unminted metal but the Sages say that one may not do so. Rabbi Dosa says that one may dip his hands in a mikva for the water of the red heifer purification ceremony but the Sages say that if one’s hands have been rendered ritually unclean, then his whole body is unclean.

Eduyos 3:3

Rabbi Dosa permits non-kohanim to eat the insides of a trumah melon and the excess leaves of a trumah vegetable, but the Sages prohibit this. Rabbi Dosa says that the sheared wool of five sheep that weighs a maneh and a half are obligated in the first shearing (and must be given to a kohein) but the Sages say that the wool of these five sheep goes to a kohein regardless of the weight. (There is, in fact, a small weight requirement even according to the Sages.)
