Demai 7:8

Let’s say that a person had 100 barrels of wine arranged in ten rows of ten barrels each and he said, “one outside row will be maaser” but we don’t know which row he meant. In such event, he must take the barrels from two opposite corners. (These necessarily include the intersections of all four outside rows; the owner then sells both barrels to a kohein for the price of one. The other is terumas maaser, which much be given to a kohein.) If he said that half of an outside row is maaser but we don’t know which, he must take all four corner barrels and act similarly. If he said, “One row will be maaser,” he must take an entire diagonal row,” which necessarily includes a barrel from each row. If he said that half of one row is maaser, he must take both diagonal rows. If he said, “One barrel will be maaser,” he must take 10% of each barrel.

Kilayim 1:1

Kilayim refers to diverse species that may not be planted together. Wheat and darnel (a type of ryegrass) are not kilayim to one another, nor are barley and oats, spelt and rye, beans and chickpeas, peas and vetchling (another member of the pea family), or white beans and red beans.
