Chapter 35

(א) וַיַּקְהֵ֣ל מֹשֶׁ֗ה אֶֽת־כׇּל־עֲדַ֛ת בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֲלֵהֶ֑ם אֵ֚לֶּה הַדְּבָרִ֔ים אֲשֶׁר־צִוָּ֥ה יְהֹוָ֖ה לַעֲשֹׂ֥ת אֹתָֽם׃ (ב) שֵׁ֣שֶׁת יָמִים֮ תֵּעָשֶׂ֣ה מְלָאכָה֒ וּבַיּ֣וֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִ֗י יִהְיֶ֨ה לָכֶ֥ם קֹ֛דֶשׁ שַׁבַּ֥ת שַׁבָּת֖וֹן לַיהֹוָ֑ה כׇּל־הָעֹשֶׂ֥ה ב֛וֹ מְלָאכָ֖ה יוּמָֽת׃ (ג) לֹא־תְבַעֲר֣וּ אֵ֔שׁ בְּכֹ֖ל מֹשְׁבֹֽתֵיכֶ֑ם בְּי֖וֹם הַשַּׁבָּֽת׃ {פ}

(א) וְאַכְנֵשׁ משֶׁה יָת כָּל כְּנִשְׁתָּא דִּבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וַאֲמַר לְהוֹן אִלֵּין פִּתְגָּמַיָּא דִּי פַקֵּד יְיָ לְמֶעְבַּד יָתְהוֹן: (ב) שִׁתָּא יוֹמִין תִּתְעֲבֵד עִבִדְתָּא וּבְיוֹמָא שְׁבִיעָאָה יְהֵי לְכוֹן קוּדְשָׁא שַׁבָּא שַׁבְּתָא קֳדָם יְיָ כָּל דְּיַעְבֵּד בֵּיהּ עִבִדְתָּא יִתְקְטֵל: (ג) לָא תְבַעֲרוּן אֶשָּׁתָא בְּכֹל מוֹתְבָנֵיכוֹן בְּיוֹמָא דְּשַׁבְּתָא:

1. Moshe assembled the entire community of the children of Israel. He said to them, “These are the things that Hashem has commanded you to do them: 2. (On) six days you may do work and on the seventh day it will be to you a Sabbath of complete rest[1] before Hashem; anyone who does work on it shall be executed.[2] 3. You shall not ignite fire in all your settlements on the Sabbath day.”

(ד) וַיֹּ֣אמֶר מֹשֶׁ֔ה אֶל־כׇּל־עֲדַ֥ת בְּנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לֵאמֹ֑ר זֶ֣ה הַדָּבָ֔ר אֲשֶׁר־צִוָּ֥ה יְהֹוָ֖ה לֵאמֹֽר׃ (ה) קְח֨וּ מֵֽאִתְּכֶ֤ם תְּרוּמָה֙ לַֽיהֹוָ֔ה כֹּ֚ל נְדִ֣יב לִבּ֔וֹ יְבִיאֶ֕הָ אֵ֖ת תְּרוּמַ֣ת יְהֹוָ֑ה זָהָ֥ב וָכֶ֖סֶף וּנְחֹֽשֶׁת׃ (ו) וּתְכֵ֧לֶת וְאַרְגָּמָ֛ן וְתוֹלַ֥עַת שָׁנִ֖י וְשֵׁ֥שׁ וְעִזִּֽים׃ (ז) וְעֹרֹ֨ת אֵילִ֧ם מְאׇדָּמִ֛ים וְעֹרֹ֥ת תְּחָשִׁ֖ים וַעֲצֵ֥י שִׁטִּֽים׃ (ח) וְשֶׁ֖מֶן לַמָּא֑וֹר וּבְשָׂמִים֙ לְשֶׁ֣מֶן הַמִּשְׁחָ֔ה וְלִקְטֹ֖רֶת הַסַּמִּֽים׃ (ט) וְאַ֨בְנֵי־שֹׁ֔הַם וְאַבְנֵ֖י מִלֻּאִ֑ים לָאֵפ֖וֹד וְלַחֹֽשֶׁן׃ (י) וְכׇל־חֲכַם־לֵ֖ב בָּכֶ֑ם יָבֹ֣אוּ וְיַעֲשׂ֔וּ אֵ֛ת כׇּל־אֲשֶׁ֥ר צִוָּ֖ה יְהֹוָֽה׃ (יא) אֶ֨ת־הַמִּשְׁכָּ֔ן אֶֽת־אׇהֳל֖וֹ וְאֶת־מִכְסֵ֑הוּ אֶת־קְרָסָיו֙ וְאֶת־קְרָשָׁ֔יו אֶת־בְּרִיחָ֕ו אֶת־עַמֻּדָ֖יו וְאֶת־אֲדָנָֽיו׃ (יב) אֶת־הָאָרֹ֥ן וְאֶת־בַּדָּ֖יו אֶת־הַכַּפֹּ֑רֶת וְאֵ֖ת פָּרֹ֥כֶת הַמָּסָֽךְ׃ (יג) אֶת־הַשֻּׁלְחָ֥ן וְאֶת־בַּדָּ֖יו וְאֶת־כׇּל־כֵּלָ֑יו וְאֵ֖ת לֶ֥חֶם הַפָּנִֽים׃ (יד) וְאֶת־מְנֹרַ֧ת הַמָּא֛וֹר וְאֶת־כֵּלֶ֖יהָ וְאֶת־נֵרֹתֶ֑יהָ וְאֵ֖ת שֶׁ֥מֶן הַמָּאֽוֹר׃ (טו) וְאֶת־מִזְבַּ֤ח הַקְּטֹ֙רֶת֙ וְאֶת־בַּדָּ֔יו וְאֵת֙ שֶׁ֣מֶן הַמִּשְׁחָ֔ה וְאֵ֖ת קְטֹ֣רֶת הַסַּמִּ֑ים וְאֶת־מָסַ֥ךְ הַפֶּ֖תַח לְפֶ֥תַח הַמִּשְׁכָּֽן׃ (טז) אֵ֣ת ׀ מִזְבַּ֣ח הָעֹלָ֗ה וְאֶת־מִכְבַּ֤ר הַנְּחֹ֙שֶׁת֙ אֲשֶׁר־ל֔וֹ אֶת־בַּדָּ֖יו וְאֶת־כׇּל־כֵּלָ֑יו אֶת־הַכִּיֹּ֖ר וְאֶת־כַּנּֽוֹ׃ (יז) אֵ֚ת קַלְעֵ֣י הֶחָצֵ֔ר אֶת־עַמֻּדָ֖יו וְאֶת־אֲדָנֶ֑יהָ וְאֵ֕ת מָסַ֖ךְ שַׁ֥עַר הֶחָצֵֽר׃ (יח) אֶת־יִתְדֹ֧ת הַמִּשְׁכָּ֛ן וְאֶת־יִתְדֹ֥ת הֶחָצֵ֖ר וְאֶת־מֵיתְרֵיהֶֽם׃ (יט) אֶת־בִּגְדֵ֥י הַשְּׂרָ֖ד לְשָׁרֵ֣ת בַּקֹּ֑דֶשׁ אֶת־בִּגְדֵ֤י הַקֹּ֙דֶשׁ֙ לְאַהֲרֹ֣ן הַכֹּהֵ֔ן וְאֶת־בִּגְדֵ֥י בָנָ֖יו לְכַהֵֽן׃ (כ) וַיֵּ֥צְא֛וּ כׇּל־עֲדַ֥ת בְּנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל מִלִּפְנֵ֥י מֹשֶֽׁה׃

(ד) וַאֲמַר משֶׁה לְכָל כְּנִשְׁתָּא דִבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לְמֵימָר דֵּין פִּתְגָּמָא דִּי פַקֵּד יְיָ לְמֵימָר: (ה) סָבוּ מִנְּכוֹן אַפְרָשׁוּתָא קֳדָם יְיָ כֹּל דְּיִתְרְעֵי לִבֵּיהּ יַיְתֵי יָת אַפְרָשׁוּתָא קֳדָם יְיָ דַּהֲבָא וְכַסְפָּא וּנְחָשָׁא: (ו) וְתִכְלָא וְאַרְגְּוָנָא וּצְבַע זְהוֹרִי וּבוּץ וּמְעַזֵּי: (ז) וּמַשְׁכֵי דְדִכְרֵי מְסַמְּקֵי וּמַשְׁכֵי דְסַסְגוֹנָא וְאָעֵי שִׁטִּין: (ח) וּמִשְׁחָא לְאַנְהָרוּתָא וּבוּסְמַיָּא לִמְשַׁח רְבוּתָא וְלִקְטֹרֶת בּוּסְמַיָּא: (ט) וְאַבְנֵי בוּרְלָא וְאַבְנֵי אַשְׁלָמוּתָא לְשַׁקָּעָא בְאֵפוֹדָא וּבְחוּשְׁנָא: (י) וְכָל חַכִּימֵי לִבָּא בְּכוֹן יֵיתוּן וְיַעַבְדוּן יָת כָּל דִּי פַקֵּד יְיָ: (יא) יָת מַשְׁכְּנָא יָת פְּרָסֵיהּ וְיָת חוֹפָאֵיהּ יָת פּוּרְפוֹהִי וְיָת דַּפּוֹהִי יָת עַבְרוֹהִי יָת עַמּוּדוֹהִי וְיָת סַמְכוֹהִי: (יב) יָת אֲרוֹנָא וְיָת אֲרִיחוֹהִי יָת כַּפֻּרְתָּא וְיָת פָּרֻכְתָּא דִפְרָסָא: (יג) יָת פָּתוֹרָא וְיָת אֲרִיחוֹהִי וְיָת כָּל מָנוֹהִי וְיָת לְחֵם אַפַּיָּא: (יד) וְיָת מְנַרְתָּא דְאַנְהוֹרֵי וְיָת מָנָהָא וְיָת בּוֹצִינָהָא וְיָת מִשְׁחָא דְאַנְהָרוּתָא: (טו) וְיָת מַדְבְּחָא דִקְטֹרֶת בּוּסְמַיָּא וְיָת אֲרִיחוֹהִי וְיָת מִשְׁחָא דִרְבוּתָא וְיָת קְטֹרֶת בּוּסְמַיָּא וְיָת פְּרָסָא דְתַרְעָא לִתְרַע מַשְׁכְּנָא: (טז) יָת מַדְבְּחָא דַעֲלָתָא וְיָת סְרָדָא דִנְחָשָׁא דִּילֵיהּ יָת אֲרִיחוֹהִי וְיָת כָּל מָנוֹהִי יָת כִּיוֹרָא וְיָת בְּסִיסֵיהּ: (יז) יָת סְרָדֵי דַרְתָּא יָת עַמּוּדוֹהִי וְיָת סַמְכָהָא וְיָת פְּרָסָא דִּתְרַע דַּרְתָּא: (יח) יָת סִכֵּי מַשְׁכְּנָא וְיָת סִכֵּי דְדַרְתָּא וְיָת אַטּוּנֵיהוֹן: (יט) יָת לְבוּשֵׁי שִׁמּוּשָׁא לְשַׁמָּשָׁא בְקוּדְשָׁא יָת לְבוּשֵׁי קוּדְשָׁא לְאַהֲרֹן כַּהֲנָא וְיָת לְבוּשֵׁי בְנוֹהִי לְשַׁמָּשָׁא: (כ) וּנְפָקוּ כָּל כְּנִשְׁתָּא דִבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל מִן קֳדָם משֶׁה:

4. Moshe said to the entire community of the children of Israel, “This is the thing that Hashem has commanded, saying: 5. Take from among you a gift before Hashem. Everyone whose heart (so) desires shall bring it – a gift before Hashem: gold, silver and copper; 6. blue, purple and crimson­dyed wool, linen and goats’ hair; 7. reddened ram skins, multicolored skins,[3] and acacia wood; 8. oil for lighting, and spices for the elevation oil and for the spice incense; 9. beryl[4] and whole stones,[5] to insert into the apron and the breastplate. 10. Let all wise-hearted (people)[6] among you come and make all that Hashem commanded: 11. the Tabernacle, its tent and its cover, its clasps and its boards, its bars, its posts and its sockets; 12. the ark and its poles, the cover, and the curtain for the drape; 13. the table and its poles and all its utensils, and the showbread; 14. the menorah for lighting, its utensils and its lamps, and the oil for lighting; 15. the spice incense altar and its poles; the elevation oil and the spice incense; and the entrance screen for the entrance of the Tabernacle; 16. the burnt-offering altar, its copper grating, its poles, and all its utensils; the basin and its stand; 17. the curtains of the courtyard, its posts and its sockets, and the screen for the gate of the courtyard; 18. the pegs of the Tabernacle, and the pegs of the courtyard, and their cords; 19. the service[7] garments for officiating in the sanctuary, the holy garments of Aharon the priest and the garments of his sons for ministering.” 20. The entire community of the children of Israel departed from before Moshe.
