Chapter 8
(א) וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהֹוָ֖ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃ (ב) קַ֤ח אֶֽת־אַהֲרֹן֙ וְאֶת־בָּנָ֣יו אִתּ֔וֹ וְאֵת֙ הַבְּגָדִ֔ים וְאֵ֖ת שֶׁ֣מֶן הַמִּשְׁחָ֑ה וְאֵ֣ת ׀ פַּ֣ר הַֽחַטָּ֗את וְאֵת֙ שְׁנֵ֣י הָֽאֵילִ֔ים וְאֵ֖ת סַ֥ל הַמַּצּֽוֹת׃ (ג) וְאֵ֥ת כׇּל־הָעֵדָ֖ה הַקְהֵ֑ל אֶל־פֶּ֖תַח אֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃ (ד) וַיַּ֣עַשׂ מֹשֶׁ֔ה כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהֹוָ֖ה אֹת֑וֹ וַתִּקָּהֵל֙ הָֽעֵדָ֔ה אֶל־פֶּ֖תַח אֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃ (ה) וַיֹּ֥אמֶר מֹשֶׁ֖ה אֶל־הָעֵדָ֑ה זֶ֣ה הַדָּבָ֔ר אֲשֶׁר־צִוָּ֥ה יְהֹוָ֖ה לַעֲשֽׂוֹת׃ (ו) וַיַּקְרֵ֣ב מֹשֶׁ֔ה אֶֽת־אַהֲרֹ֖ן וְאֶת־בָּנָ֑יו וַיִּרְחַ֥ץ אֹתָ֖ם בַּמָּֽיִם׃ (ז) וַיִּתֵּ֨ן עָלָ֜יו אֶת־הַכֻּתֹּ֗נֶת וַיַּחְגֹּ֤ר אֹתוֹ֙ בָּֽאַבְנֵ֔ט וַיַּלְבֵּ֤שׁ אֹתוֹ֙ אֶֽת־הַמְּעִ֔יל וַיִּתֵּ֥ן עָלָ֖יו אֶת־הָאֵפֹ֑ד וַיַּחְגֹּ֣ר אֹת֗וֹ בְּחֵ֙שֶׁב֙ הָֽאֵפֹ֔ד וַיֶּאְפֹּ֥ד ל֖וֹ בּֽוֹ׃ (ח) וַיָּ֥שֶׂם עָלָ֖יו אֶת־הַחֹ֑שֶׁן וַיִּתֵּן֙ אֶל־הַחֹ֔שֶׁן אֶת־הָאוּרִ֖ים וְאֶת־הַתֻּמִּֽים׃ (ט) וַיָּ֥שֶׂם אֶת־הַמִּצְנֶ֖פֶת עַל־רֹאשׁ֑וֹ וַיָּ֨שֶׂם עַֽל־הַמִּצְנֶ֜פֶת אֶל־מ֣וּל פָּנָ֗יו אֵ֣ת צִ֤יץ הַזָּהָב֙ נֵ֣זֶר הַקֹּ֔דֶשׁ כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהֹוָ֖ה אֶת־מֹשֶֽׁה׃ (י) וַיִּקַּ֤ח מֹשֶׁה֙ אֶת־שֶׁ֣מֶן הַמִּשְׁחָ֔ה וַיִּמְשַׁ֥ח אֶת־הַמִּשְׁכָּ֖ן וְאֶת־כׇּל־אֲשֶׁר־בּ֑וֹ וַיְקַדֵּ֖שׁ אֹתָֽם׃ (יא) וַיַּ֥ז מִמֶּ֛נּוּ עַל־הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ שֶׁ֣בַע פְּעָמִ֑ים וַיִּמְשַׁ֨ח אֶת־הַמִּזְבֵּ֜חַ וְאֶת־כׇּל־כֵּלָ֗יו וְאֶת־הַכִּיֹּ֛ר וְאֶת־כַּנּ֖וֹ לְקַדְּשָֽׁם׃ (יב) וַיִּצֹק֙ מִשֶּׁ֣מֶן הַמִּשְׁחָ֔ה עַ֖ל רֹ֣אשׁ אַהֲרֹ֑ן וַיִּמְשַׁ֥ח אֹת֖וֹ לְקַדְּשֽׁוֹ׃ (יג) וַיַּקְרֵ֨ב מֹשֶׁ֜ה אֶת־בְּנֵ֣י אַהֲרֹ֗ן וַיַּלְבִּשֵׁ֤ם כֻּתֳּנֹת֙ וַיַּחְגֹּ֤ר אֹתָם֙ אַבְנֵ֔ט וַיַּחֲבֹ֥שׁ לָהֶ֖ם מִגְבָּע֑וֹת כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהֹוָ֖ה אֶת־מֹשֶֽׁה׃
(א) וּמַלִּיל יְיָ עִם משֶׁה לְמֵימָר: (ב) קָרֵב יָת אַהֲרֹן וְיָת בְּנוֹהִי עִמֵּיהּ וְיָת לְבוּשַׁיָּא וְיָת מִשְׁחָא דִרְבוּתָא וְיָת תּוֹרָא דְחַטָּאתָא וְיָת תְּרֵין דִּכְרִין וְיָת סַלָּא דְפַטִּירַיָּא: (ג) וְיָת כָּל כְּנִשְׁתָּא כְּנֵשׁ לִתְרַע מַשְׁכַּן זִמְנָא: (ד) וַעֲבַד משֶׁה כְּמָא דִי פַּקִּיד יְיָ יָתֵיהּ וְאִתְכְּנִישַׁת כְּנִשְׁתָּא לִתְרַע מַשְׁכַּן זִמְנָא: (ה) וַאֲמַר משֶׁה לִכְנִשְׁתָּא דֵּין פִּתְגָּמָא דִּי פַקִּיד יְיָ לְמֶעְבָּד: (ו) וְקָרִיב מָשֶׁה יָת אַהֲרֹן וְיָת בְּנוֹהִי וְאַסְחֵי יָתְהוֹן בְּמַיָּא: (ז) וִיהַב עֲלוֹהִי יָת כִּתּוּנָא וְזָרֵז יָתֵיהּ בְּהֶמְיָנָא וְאַלְבֵּשׁ יָתֵיהּ יָת מְעִילָא וִיהַב עֲלוֹהִי יָת אֵפוֹדָא וְזָרֵז יָתֵיהּ בְּהֶמְיַן אֵפוֹדָא וְאַתְקֵן לֵיהּ בֵּיהּ: (ח) וְשַׁוִּי עֲלוֹהִי יָת חוּשְׁנָא וִיהַב בְּחוּשְׁנָא יָת אוּרַיָּא וְיָת תֻּמַיָּא: (ט) וְשַׁוִּי יָת מִצְנֶפְתָּא עַל רֵישֵׁיהּ וְשַׁוִּי עַל מִצְנֶפְתָּא לָקֳבֵל אַפּוֹהִי יָת צִיצָא דְדַהֲבָא כְּלִילָא דְקוּדְשָׁא כְּמָא דִי פַקִּיד יְיָ יָת משֶׁה: (י) וּנְסִיב משֶׁה יָת מִשְׁחָא דִרְבוּתָא וְרַבִּי יָת מַשְׁכְּנָא וְיָת כָּל דִּי בֵיהּ וְקַדִּישׁ יָתְהוֹן: (יא) וְאַדִּי מִנֵּיהּ עַל מַדְבְּחָא שְׁבַע זִמְנִין וְרַבִּי יָת מַדְבְּחָא וְיָת כָּל מָנוֹהִי וְיָת כִּיּוֹרָא וְיָת בְּסִיסֵיהּ לְקַדָּשׁוּתְהוֹן: (יב) וַאֲרִיק מִמִּשְׁחָא דִרְבוּתָא עַל רֵישָׁא דְאַהֲרֹן וְרַבִּי יָתֵיהּ לְקַדָּשׁוּתֵיהּ: (יג) וְקָרִיב משֶׁה יָת בְּנֵי אַהֲרֹן וְאַלְבֵּשִׁנּוּן כִּתּוּנִין וְזָרֵז יָתְהוֹן הֶמְיָנִין וְאַתְקֵן לְהוֹן כּוֹבָעִין כְּמָא דִי פַקִּיד יְיָ יָת משֶׁה:
1. Hashem spoke with Moshe, saying: 2. Bring Aharon near[1] and his sons with him, and the garments, and the elevation[2] oil, and the bull for the sin offering, and the two rams and the basket of unleavened bread, 3. and gather the entire community at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting. 4. Moshe did as Hashem commanded him and the community was gathered at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting. 5. Moshe said to the congregation, “This is the matter that Hashem has commanded to do.” 6. Moshe brought Aharon and his sons near and he washed them in water. 7. He put the tunic on him, he girded him with the belt, he dressed him with the robe, he put the apron on him, and he girded him with the decorative band and he adorned him with it. 8. He put the breastplate on him and he put the urim and tumim into the breastplate. 9. He put the turban on his head and on the turban, facing the front, he put the gold plate, the holy crown, as Hashem commanded Moshe. 10. Moshe took the elevation oil and he elevated the Tabernacle and everything that was in it, and he sanctified them. 11. He sprinkled from it on the altar seven times and he elevated the altar and all its utensils, and the basin and its stand, to sanctify them. 12. He poured from the elevation oil on Aharon’s head and elevated him, to sanctify him. 13. Moshe brought Aharon’s sons near. He dressed them in tunics, girded them with belts, and set[3] hats for them, as Hashem commanded Moshe.
