Erchin 1:3-4

Erchin (Arachin) 1:3

A person who is on the verge of death or about to be executed cannot be the subject of a vow or a valuation. Rabbi Chanina ben Akavya says that such a person can be the subject of a valuation, which is a fixed value, but he cannot be the subject of a vow because he has no personal value. Rabbi Yosi says that a condemned person can make a vow, commit a valuation and consecrate property, and if he causes damage, he is obligated to compensate the victims.

Erchin (Arachin) 1:4

If a pregnant woman is condemned to execution, it is not delayed until after she has given birth, but if she’s already on the birth stool, then we do wait until she has given birth. If a woman is executed, her hair (presumably meaning her wig) may be used; if an animal is executed (such as for killing a human or for bestiality), no part of it may be used.
