3,485. Bread From a Baker

Hilchos Maaser 14:5

If someone buys bread from a baker, he may not tithe from the warm bread for the cold bread. This is because yesterday's wheat may have come from one source and today's wheat is from a different source.

Hilchos Maaser 14:6

If someone buys bread from a bakery he may tithe from one loaf for the others even if they were made using different molds. This is because a baker who sells to a bakery puts his dough in different molds. However, if one buys bread from a wholesaler, he must tithe each different shape separately. This is because a wholesaler buys his bread from multiple bakers.
