Hilchos Bikkurim 1:15
The ten kohanic gifts outside of Jerusalem are terumah, terumas maaser, challah, first shearings, their share of a slaughtered animal, the money from redeeming a firstborn, the sheep used to redeem a firstborn donkey, a dedicated field, an ancestral field and the stolen property of a convert who died without heirs. According to this manner of counting, the portions given to kohanim from sacrifices of lesser sanctity – including the breast and leg of peace offerings, the bread in the case of thanksgiving offerings, and the foreleg of a nazir’s ram which is given to a kohein – are considered one gift because they’re all peace offerings.
Hilchos Bikkurim 1:16
AIl of the gifts that come from sacrifices will be discussed IY”H when we come to the laws of sacrifices. Similarly, the stolen property of a convert will be discussed in the laws of theft. We already discussed ancestral fields and dedications in Hilchos Arachin, and terumah and terumas maaser were discussed in Hilchos Terumah. In this section, the Rambam will explain the laws of kohanic gifts that don’t come from sacrifices, namely first fruits, challah, their share of a slaughtered animal, first shearings, the redemption money of a firstborn (pidyon haben) and the redemption sheep of a firstborn donkey.
