3,626. Those Who Should Not Separate Terumah and Challah

Hilchos Bikkurim 5:15

There are certain types of people whom we said should not separate terumah, and if they do so, the separation is ineffective; the same is true when it comes to challah. In all cases where we said that terumah may not be taken from one type of produce for another, challah may also not be taken. Whoever may not eat terumah may likewise not eat challah. Conversely, whoever may eat terumah may also eat challah.

Hilchos Bikkurim 5:16

A blind person and one who is intoxicated may take challah even at the outset. This is because dough has no better or worse portions that he must be able to identify so that he can take from the better part.
