If a piece of cloth three handbreadths by three handbreadths was divided, it is purified from midras impurity but it remains impure from contact with midras. Rabbi Yosi asks what midras it touched; only if a zav touched it is it impure from contact with a zav.

Keilim 27:11

A piece of cloth three handbreadths by three handbreadths in a trash heap must be both whole and usable for wrapping salt; in the house it must be either whole or usable for wrapping salt. The volume of salt it must be capable of wrapping is quarter-kav (about a pint). Rabbi Yehuda says this refers to fine salt but the Sages say that it refers to coarse salt; both opinions are intended to be lenient. Rabbi Shimon says that a piece of cloth three handbreadths by three handbreadths in a trash heap is the same as a piece of cloth three fingerbreadths by three fingerbreadths in the house.
