Keilim 28:10-29:1

Keilim 28:10

If one started making a hairnet from the mouth, it remains insusceptible to impurity until the bottom is finished. If he started from the bottom, it remains insusceptible until the mouth is finished. The headband from a hairnet is susceptible to impurity even on its own. The ties of a hairnet are only susceptible to impurity when connected to the hairnet. A hairnet that is torn is insusceptible to impurity if it can’t contain the major part of a woman’s hair.

Keilim 29:1

The fringes of a sheet, a scarf, a hood and a headscarf are considered attached to the garment for up to six fingerbreadths; those of a corset up to ten. The fringes of a topcoat, a veil, a shirt and a cloak are considered connected for up to three fingerbreadths. The fringes of an old woman’s hat (referring to a particular style and not the age of the owner), an Arab face wrap, a hair shirt, a money-belt, a turban and a curtain are considered connected in any length.
