4,025. Blemishes of the Genitals and of the Limbs
Hilchos Bias HaMikdash 7:8
There are twelve blemishes of the genitals: (1-4) if the male organ is crushed, cut, severed or amputated; (5-8) if one or both testes is crushed, cut, severed or amputated; (9) if he has only one testis even though he has two pouches; (10) if he has two testes in one pouch; (11) a person of indeterminate gender; (12) an intersex person (what was formerly referred to as a hermaphrodite).
Hilchos Bias HaMikdash 7:9
There are six blemishes of the hands and the feet: (1) a limp; (2) a dislocated hip – this is the serua of Leviticus 21:18; (3) one hip higher than the other; (4) a broken hand/arm bone, whose effect is obvious; (5) a broken foot/leg bone, whose effect is obvious. Even if the broken bone isn’t obvious when he stands, if it becomes obvious when he walks, it’s a blemish; (6) legs that are permanently swollen from birth. However, if they’re swollen because of some external cause, it’s not a blemish.
