4,155. More Blood That Need Not Be Washed

Hilchos Maasei Hakarbanos 8:7

If the requisite four placements of blood were made and some of the remaining blood spilled from the service vessel onto a garment, it need not be washed even though the rest of the blood hasn’t yet been poured on the base of the altar. The same rule applies to the blood of sin offerings that are burned.

Hilchos Maasei Hakarbanos 8:8

If the blood of a sin offering splashed from a kohein’s finger after he sprinkled the blood from his hand, the garment on which it fell need not be washed because the blood remaining on his finger isn’t suitable for sprinkling.
