4,156. Blood That Splatters From Garment to Garment

Hilchos Maasei Hakarbanos 8:9

If blood splattered from garment to garment, the second garment need not be washed. If it splashed onto a ritually unclean garment, it need not be washed. If the blood of a sin offering splashed onto a garment and then regular blood splashed onto the sin-offering blood, it must be washed, but if regular blood splashed onto a garment first and then sin-offering blood splashed onto that, it need not be washed. This is because the sin-offering blood isn’t absorbed into the garment.

Hilchos Maasei Hakarbanos 8:10

When washing the spot stained by blood, it must be washed thoroughly with water until no sign of the blood remains. There are seven compounds that are used to treat stains, six of which are used to cleanse the blood of a sin offering from a garment. The exception is urine, which wasn’t brought into the Temple.
