On motzei shabbos the very first insertion that we make in the shemoneh esrei is in the bracha of chonen hadaas. We insert the havdalah as our very first request. Havdalah is the ability to distinguish and categorize between the good and bad and ultimately requires wisdom that we as G-d to grant us with.
